Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the licensed stamp vendor shall apply to the State Government in Form H for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five rupees, and the State Government shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within one hundred and eighty days of the application.
