Transfer of registration.—A certificate of registration shall not be transferable: Provided that where any holder of land dies, his legal representative shall, within forty-five days of the death, intimate the death to the Board of Revenue in Form 14, surrender the certificate of registration to it and furnish a statement of every record of rights then held; and the Board of Revenue shall enter the intimation in the register within fifteen days of its receipt.
