Transfer of registration.—A certificate of registration shall not be transferable: Provided that where any owner of premises used as a polling station dies, his legal representative shall, within fourteen days of the death, intimate the death to the Electoral Registration Officer in Form 12, surrender the certificate of registration to it and furnish a statement of every register then held; and the Electoral Registration Officer shall enter the intimation in the register within three days of its receipt.
