Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the operator of a rural water supply scheme shall apply to the District Collector in Form 7 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees, and the District Collector shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within twenty-one days of the application.
