Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the contractor shall apply to the Controller General of Accounts in Form GFR 12-C for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees, and the Controller General of Accounts shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within fourteen days of the application.
