Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the donor to a political party shall apply to the Returning Officer in Form 17A for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees, and the Returning Officer shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within seven days of the application.
