Definitions.—In this Order, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "Act" means the Uttarakhand Uniform Civil Code Act, 2024 (Uttarakhand Act 3 of 2024); (b) "registrar of births and deaths" means a person carrying on the registration of births and deaths; (c) "will" means a will received, held or disposed of by a registrar of births and deaths in the course of the registration of births and deaths; (d) "Form II" means the form so numbered in the Schedule; (e) words and expressions used herein and not defined but defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
