Surrender of certificate.—Every adoption agency who ceases to carry on the placement of children for adoption shall, within seven days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the District Registrar in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form I of the manner in which every marriage register held by him has been disposed of.
