Rule 2, Kerala Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 (Licensing) Rules, 2025 [S6E-B3D]

Definitions.—In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "Act" means the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 (67 of 1957); (b) "holder of an advance authorisation" means a person carrying on the import of inputs under an advance authorisation; (c) "importer-exporter code" means a importer-exporter code received, held or disposed of by a holder of an advance authorisation in the course of the import of inputs under an advance authorisation; (d) "Form FC-4" means the form so numbered in the Schedule; (e) words and expressions used herein and not defined but defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
