Application for registration.—Every author carrying on the publication of works shall make an application for registration to the Plant Varieties Authority in Form 1, within sixty days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees and a statement of every register of patents held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for ninety days from that date.
