Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the reinsurer shall apply to the Institute of Actuaries in Form IRDA-4 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees, and the Institute of Actuaries shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within seven days of the application.
