Surrender of certificate.—Every contractor engaged in a mine who ceases to carry on the execution of work in a mine shall, within one hundred and eighty days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Director of Mines and Geology in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form J of the manner in which every return held by him has been disposed of.
