Rule 5, Bihar Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 (Inspection) Rules, 2024 [S6C-W3B]

Transfer of registration.—A certificate of registration shall not be transferable: Provided that where any contractor engaged in a mine dies, his legal representative shall, within forty-five days of the death, intimate the death to the Government of Bihar in Form H, surrender the certificate of registration to it and furnish a statement of every mining plan then held; and the Government of Bihar shall enter the intimation in the register within ninety days of its receipt.
