Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the owner of land within a cantonment shall apply to the Cantonment Board in Form G for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees, and the Cantonment Board shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within fourteen days of the application.
