Clause 2, Tamil Nadu Panchayats (Fair Control) Order, 2024 [S6C-0A6]

Definitions.—In this Order, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "Act" means the Tamil Nadu Panchayats Act, 1994 (Tamil Nadu Act 21 of 1994); (b) "lessee of a village tank" means a person carrying on the leasing of a village tank; (c) "building" means a building received, held or disposed of by a lessee of a village tank in the course of the leasing of a village tank; (d) "Form 7" means the form so numbered in the Schedule; (e) words and expressions used herein and not defined but defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
