Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the taxable person shall apply to the Commissioner in Form GST EWB-01 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees, and the Commissioner shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within ten days of the application.
