Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the keeper of a hotel lodging foreigners shall apply to the Citizenship Committee in Form D for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees, and the Citizenship Committee shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within seven days of the application.
