Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the manager of a mine shall apply to the Controller General in Form H for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one lakh rupees, and the Controller General shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within ninety days of the application.
