Transfer of registration.—A certificate of registration shall not be transferable: Provided that where any person presenting a document for registration dies, his legal representative shall, within sixty days of the death, intimate the death to the Competent Authority in Form 1, surrender the certificate of registration to it and furnish a statement of every notice of acquisition then held; and the Competent Authority shall enter the intimation in the register within one hundred and twenty days of its receipt.
