Safe custody.—Every person presenting a document for registration shall keep every interest in land to which these rules apply in a receptacle or place reserved for the purpose at the premises where the presentation of documents for registration is carried on, shall record in Form 6 the description of every interest in land so kept and the date on which it was received, and shall furnish a copy of the record to the Competent Authority within forty-five days of the close of each year.
