Definitions.—In this Order, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "Act" means the Odisha Survey and Settlement Act, 1959 (Odisha Act 3 of 1959); (b) "person in possession of land" means a person carrying on the possession of land; (c) "mutation" means a mutation received, held or disposed of by a person in possession of land in the course of the possession of land; (d) "Form 1" means the form so numbered in the Schedule; (e) words and expressions used herein and not defined but defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
