Application for registration.—Every importer of food carrying on the import of food shall make an application for registration to the Adjudicating Officer in Form G, within sixty days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees and a statement of every ration card held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for fifteen days from that date.
