Clause 2, Goa, Daman and Diu Agricultural Tenancy (Khasra Control) Order, 2021 [S67-TWT]

Definitions.—In this Order, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "Act" means the Goa, Daman and Diu Agricultural Tenancy Act, 1964 (Goa Act 7 of 1964); (b) "tenant" means a person carrying on the cultivation of land as tenant; (c) "land revenue receipt" means a land revenue receipt received, held or disposed of by a tenant in the course of the cultivation of land as tenant; (d) "Form 7" means the form so numbered in the Schedule; (e) words and expressions used herein and not defined but defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
