Clause 2, Puducherry Land Reforms (Fixation of Ceiling on Land) (Holding Control) Order, 2021 [S67-CDF]

Definitions.—In this Order, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "Act" means the Puducherry Land Reforms (Fixation of Ceiling on Land) Act, 1973 (Puducherry Act 9 of 1973); (b) "person converting agricultural land" means a person carrying on the conversion of agricultural land to non-agricultural use; (c) "patta" means a patta received, held or disposed of by a person converting agricultural land in the course of the conversion of agricultural land to non-agricultural use; (d) "Form 1" means the form so numbered in the Schedule; (e) words and expressions used herein and not defined but defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
