Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the operator of a rural water supply scheme shall apply to the Panchayat Samiti in Form 6 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees, and the Panchayat Samiti shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within twenty-one days of the application.
