Surrender of certificate.—Every operator of a rural water supply scheme who ceases to carry on the operation of a rural water supply scheme shall, within forty-five days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Panchayat Samiti in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form 8 of the manner in which every work order held by him has been disposed of.
