Surrender of certificate.—Every keeper of a shop who ceases to carry on the keeping of a shop shall, within forty-five days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the appropriate Government in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form III of the manner in which every standing order held by him has been disposed of.
