Surrender of certificate.—Every social media intermediary who ceases to carry on the provision of a social media service shall, within one hundred and eighty days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Cyber Appellate Tribunal in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form H of the manner in which every electronic signature certificate held by him has been disposed of.
