Bye-law 2, Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (Fees of The business of an insurance broker) Bye-laws, 2020 [S65-NQ5]

Definitions.—In these bye-laws, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "Act" means the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority Act, 1999 (41 of 1999); (b) "insurance broker" means a person carrying on the business of an insurance broker; (c) "register of policies" means a register of policies received, held or disposed of by a insurance broker in the course of the business of an insurance broker; (d) "Form IRDA-7" means the form so numbered in the Schedule; (e) words and expressions used herein and not defined but defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
