Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the owner of a dam shall apply to the River Basin Authority in Form H for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees, and the River Basin Authority shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within one hundred and twenty days of the application.
