Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the operator of a metro railway shall apply to the Divisional Railway Manager in Form C for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees, and the Divisional Railway Manager shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within thirty days of the application.
