Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the annuity service provider shall apply to the Recovery Officer in Form 10 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees, and the Recovery Officer shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within fifteen days of the application.
