Surrender of certificate.—Every registered proprietor of a design who ceases to carry on the application of a registered design shall, within one hundred and eighty days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Government of Kerala in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form 18 of the manner in which every application held by him has been disposed of.
