Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the candidate shall apply to the Election Commission in Form 26 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees, and the Election Commission shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within twenty-one days of the application.
