Rule 4, Excise Department (Principal Sub-Inspector Of Excise) Recruitment Rules, 2018 [S62-CY1]

Method of recruitment, age limit and other qualifications.—The method of recruitment to the post of Principal Sub-Inspector Of Excise in the Excise Department, Government of Maharashtra shall be by promotion, failing which by direct recruitment; the age limit for direct recruits shall be thirty-two years, relaxable for Government servants up to five years in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Government from time to time; and the essential qualification shall be a Bachelor's degree in the relevant discipline with a working knowledge of the official language of the State.
