Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the authorised representative shall apply to the Board in Form ITR-1 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees, and the Board shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within thirty days of the application.
