Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the community mediator shall apply to the Chairperson of the Council in Form C for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees, and the Chairperson of the Council shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within forty-five days of the application.
