Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the ticketing agent shall apply to the Chief Commissioner of Railway Safety in Form B for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees, and the Chief Commissioner of Railway Safety shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within seven days of the application.
