Clause 2, Karnataka Money Lenders (Consignment Control) Order, 2018 [S61-PBH]

Definitions.—In this Order, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "Act" means the Karnataka Money Lenders Act, 1961 (Karnataka Act 12 of 1961); (b) "multimodal transport operator" means a person carrying on the business of multimodal transport; (c) "register of contracts" means a register of contracts received, held or disposed of by a multimodal transport operator in the course of the business of multimodal transport; (d) "Form E" means the form so numbered in the Schedule; (e) words and expressions used herein and not defined but defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
