Surrender of certificate.—Every authorised user of a geographical indication who ceases to carry on the use of a geographical indication shall, within sixty days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Registrar of Geographical Indications in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form 5 of the manner in which every work held by him has been disposed of.
