Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the specialised adoption agency shall apply to the State Commission for Women in Form I for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees, and the State Commission for Women shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within twenty-one days of the application.
