Surrender of certificate.—Every person discharging effluent into a stream who ceases to carry on the discharge of effluent into a stream shall, within one hundred and twenty days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Government of Maharashtra in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form C of the manner in which every register of users held by him has been disposed of.
