Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the donor to a political party shall apply to the State Election Commission in Form 8 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees, and the State Election Commission shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within forty-five days of the application.
