Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the importer of goods bearing a mark shall apply to the Registrar of Copyrights in Form 3 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees, and the Registrar of Copyrights shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within forty-five days of the application.
