Application for registration.—Every point of sales person carrying on the sale of insurance products at a point of sale shall make an application for registration to the Council of Insurers in Form IRDA-2, within fifteen days of the commencement of these regulations, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees and a statement of every proposal form held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for sixty days from that date.
