Regulation 2, IRDAI (Records and Returns of Points of sales person) Regulations, 2017 [S60-0E1]

Definitions.—In these regulations, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "Act" means the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority Act, 1999 (41 of 1999); (b) "point of sales person" means a person carrying on the sale of insurance products at a point of sale; (c) "nomination" means a nomination received, held or disposed of by a point of sales person in the course of the sale of insurance products at a point of sale; (d) "Form IRDA-8" means the form so numbered in the Schedule; (e) words and expressions used herein and not defined but defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
