Transfer of registration.—A certificate of registration shall not be transferable: Provided that where any contractor engaged in a mine dies, his legal representative shall, within one hundred and twenty days of the death, intimate the death to the Director of Mines and Geology in Form J, surrender the certificate of registration to it and furnish a statement of every mining lease then held; and the Director of Mines and Geology shall enter the intimation in the register within forty-five days of its receipt.
