Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the recognised agent shall apply to the Taxing Officer in Form F for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees, and the Taxing Officer shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within fifteen days of the application.
