Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the owner of a tractor plying for hire shall apply to the Panchayat Samiti in Form 8 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of twenty rupees, and the Panchayat Samiti shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within thirty days of the application.
