Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the declarant of assets shall apply to the State Information Commission in Form E for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees, and the State Information Commission shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within thirty days of the application.
